Reducing emissions means much more than developing and installing a good catalyst. The reduction of exhaust gases starts with the monitoring of fuel gas quality, continues with the optimization of combustion and does not end with the appropriate catalyst technology. By selecting the right engine oils, for example, catalyst ageing can be significantly reduced. In this environment, we are partners and advisors to our customers. From the engine-specific selection of catalytic converters to the installation and support of the exhaust gas measurement, we remain associated with our customers on a long-term basis and help them not only to comply with the legal limits in a stable manner, but also to really save money through the optimal operation of their gas engines.
Biogas catalyst - The future is sulphur-resistant. What is the point of all the euphoria about green energy when the emissions of biogas cogeneration plants are higher than those of comparable natural gas cogeneration plants? In the long term, green energy will only prevail if it is produced cleanly. The short service lives of the first catalytic converters in biogas CHPs were motivation and incentive for a new generation of catalytic converters, which has to cope with the very high sulphur loads and can safely convert carbon monoxide and formaldehyde at the same time.
